About Friends of Seth

Friends of Seth is music born from the timeless teachings of Seth, channeled by Jane Roberts, ideas that have quietly shaped my life since I first encountered them in the early 1980s.

I’m Jeffrey G. Kiefer, the songwriter, producer, and creator behind this project. A friend handed me Seth Speaks and said, “Read this.” I did. And I haven’t stopped reading, questioning, living, and sometimes wrestling with the material since.

I was deeply involved in the California Seth Conferences, helping Lawrence Davidson with the early ones, then co-producing the last two. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and would like to do a shout-out to the Bay Area Sethies who were generous, patient, and insightful, helping me truly understand the teachings and putting up with me through it all. Many of those connections remain dear friends to this day, and I’m eternally grateful.

The idea for Friends of Seth music began as a quiet inner nudge: what if these profound concepts, All That Is, probable selves, the point of power, you create your reality, could be expressed not just in words, but in sound? Not as lectures or guided meditations, but as actual songs you could listen to, feel, and carry with you.

I enjoy the creation process and am drawn to its experimental elements, the alchemy of bringing the inner into the outer. I’ve long been fascinated by the mysterious threshold where raw sound begins to transform into music or words, that liminal space where vibration becomes meaning, where noise turns into emotion and silence turns into resonance. I love bending sound, stretching it, playing at the edge of what it can become.

The process was a living, breathing back-and-forth: listening deeply, responding, shaping, allowing the music to reveal itself. I began by channeling ideas into prompts and letting AI generate initial melodies, harmonies, and vocal textures. From there, the real creative work began, I took the raw material into SpectraLayers to sculpt and repair, then rebuilt and mixed everything in Cakewalk Next. Using my own human hands and ears, I added layers, harmonies, and emotional depth until the songs felt alive and true. The final step was mastering the tracks, which I accomplished in Landr, resulting in the 3D-HD sound I was striving for. Every step was guided by my own creative direction, revisions, and decisions. AI was simply one tool in a very human process, and I especially enjoyed learning them, even becoming friends with them. (They can be a chattie bunch.)

The result is an album that feels both meditative and uplifting, a musical expression of Seth’s teachings, filtered through my own long relationship with the material and my love of experimental sound.

Friends of Seth is not just a band name. It’s a nod to the community that helped shape me, and to the larger “friends”, all of us, in every probable reality, who are part of the same creative source.

If these songs resonate with you, welcome. We're glad you're here.

To Our Abraham-Hicks Friends

Many of us walk joyfully between these teachings, Seth and Abraham both point to the same creative Source, just expressed in different voices. The core vibration is the same: your thoughts, feelings, and expectations shape your reality. What you hold in your heart becomes the magnet that draws matching experiences, exactly as both teach.

If you’ve ever felt the vortex calling, or smiled at the way “like attracts like” mirrors the Law of Attraction, you’re already in familiar territory. These songs were born from that same truth. Whether you came here through Seth’s you create reality, Abraham’s guidance to align with joy, or simply a feeling of resonance, welcome. You have always been part of our circle. We're really glad to see you here now.
